An extensive donor screening process is conducted to review all relevant medical records and social history. Only donors who meet the standards and screening requirements will be qualified to be an acceptable donor. The donor screening process is in place to eliminate potential donors with risk factors which could contribute to the transmission of infectious disease.
Origin Biologics donor recovery partners and their staff must follow specific policies and procedures to ensure that donor tissue is recovered properly and under aseptic conditions.
